PUNE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
The Right to Education Act, 2009 prescribes the modalities of the right to free and compulsory education for children between the ages of 6 to 14 years to be provided by the government. The Pune Municipal Corporation in accordance with this act has established various schools in the city. Jazz Hands Foundation currently works in partnership with the PMC to provide better English education to the children studying in these schools.
GLOBACOM TECHNOLOGIES
Jazz Hands Foundation in its third year secured a partnership with Globacom Technologies, an IT company that aspires to use their resources to help people in every capacity. Jazz Hands has been able to provide various scholarships as well as diverse learning resources with the help of funds secured from Globacom Technologies. Apart from providing funds for the showcases conducted by Jazz Hands Foundation, the company also sponsors two different types of scholarships. The first being a monetary scholarship to help fund further education of graduating students and the second being a scholarship that provides coaching for extracurricular activities to the students.
NEW YORK UNIVERSITY
New York University was instrumental in piloting the Jazz Hands venture. The institution provided our founder with programmatic guidance to develop a unique drama-based curriculum and conceptualize the idea of Jazz Hands. Through their Reynolds social entrepreneurship program and the Stern Social Impact Business Challenge, Jazz Hands was able to secure funding which enabled the pilot program in 2015.
ART 4 FUN
Jazz Hands Foundation provides scholarship opportunities to students in the form of art-based extracurricular lessons. In order to provide these art classes, Jazz Hands has partnered with Art4Fun, a recreational hub that provides people with opportunities to express their creativity through dance, music, art and fitness. Jazz Hands Foundation believes that apart from monetary scholarships, providing extracurricular opportunities to the children will help enhance different skill-sets that can be further developed into viable career paths.
THE ORCHID SCHOOL
Jazz Hands Foundation provides an excellent opportunity for equipping students with an empathetic mindset and helping them explore lives of people other than their own. The Orchid School has been an instrumental platform for volunteer recruitment. Since its inception, Jazz Hands Foundation has visited the school every year, to pitch volunteering opportunities to the students and thus secure a dynamic and dedicated volunteer base from the school. For the last few years, Jazz Hands Foundation has also been conducting its showcases at the Orchid School Auditorium and thus have secured a comprehensive partnership with The Orchid School.
